He’s also a mean dancer, with Arabic, Latin and hip hop being his specialities. Omar speaks English, Arabic and French.

The first ever Mister World is Tom Nuyens from Belgium. He was awarded the first Mister Belgium and eventually won the first Mister World pageant in 1996. He works as a model and travels all around the world. He also stars in a Macy's commercial.

Welcome to the Mr. World blogsite for updates on the most prestigious Male Pageant in the universe. Who says beauty pageants are for women only. It's about time that male pageantry be as glamorous and as sensational as ever. Aside from Mr. World, there are other male pageants like Manhunt International and Mr. International. We can see and hear about these pageants ocassionally and not as frequent as their female counterparts like the Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International pageants which are more popular and consistently held annually since the 50's.

But now it's time that men around the globe have their prestigious and annual pageant, too! With the recent success of Manhunt International by participation, they could continue to make this an annual pageant. And this year, 80 delegates are expected to compete in Mister World 2006. The last Mister World was held in 2003. And with a record of 80 contestants, we hope there's going to be a Mister World 2007 and so on.
